Presentation Planning
All of Peggy’s presentations can be customized to fit your audience’s needs. You are encouraged to discuss content and other issues beforehand to make the event work best for your group.
Audio/Visual equipment and room set up:
A Presentation screen is required due to travel restrictions. If possible, the screen should be positioned to the side of the stage rather than in the center.
Microsoft PowerPoint compatible projection system is preferred but not necessary. If one is not available, let Peggy know and one will be provided.
For large rooms and groups of 200 or more, a Wireless, clip-on microphone and PA system, suitable to the room and audience, must be provided.
A table and AC power should be set up where the speaker will be for the computer. Peggy will bring her laptop . She prefers to place her monitor centered and facing her in the same direction as the audience. This allows visual access without turning her back to see the screen.
If a live bird of prey is included in the presentation, a separate table will be needed to place the bird’s carrier.
Although Peggy is quite adept at audio/visual equipment setup and operation, you are encouraged to provide an audio/visual contact person at the event location.
Theater or classroom style seating is appropriate for most groups.
Peggy’s animated style of speaking often finds her using much of the stage area. Please do not set up the stage in such a way that confines her to a small podium area.
Although these are the preferred arrangements, we will work with you to maximize your space.
